From Judy Osborne

1. brief bio - Judy's mission in life is to love the unlovely. Because God has healed and delivered her, she wants to love others with the love she has received. Judy affirmed the value of WofH Children's Ministry Team (in response to the offering we received for that purpose on Oct. 25). She believed in Jesus at age ten because Children's Ministers reached out to her. However, she didn't know Him personally until she was 34. Her home life as a child included alcoholism and abuse and this makes her passionate about helping people with the help she was given.

1a. current ministry - Judy is the live-in director of Emma Maternity House in Calgary. For more info visit their website at www.emmahouse.ca.

2. Judy learned about tithing as an adult. She waited until her husband believed in Jesus to begin tithing. Together they learned to live and give for Jesus. Judy mentioned that they learned a concept called "First Fruits". An example of this would be to give the entire amount of a raise the first time it is received.

3. Judy and her husband give their first tithe to their church and love to give over and above. There are many stories of fiath increasing because of obeying God's prompting and seeing Him working through His people.

4. Judy shared how God provided direction for them and met their needs when they left their previous position. Because of her husband's disability, and her role as his caregiver, it is not an option for her to have a regular job. They moved to Calgary and lived in a camper trailer for several months while God worked out the details for them to live and serve at Emma Maternity House.
