WofH Winter PotPourri 2013 invites YOU … To Join the Swaddle Share Project
by bringing NEW OR USED items to
create CarePacks.
Swaddle Share began by
Megan Kreba, Melinda Prichard and Angeleah Geddert in response to a
relationship with a local social worker. These mini-hampers are given to moms
in our city. Winter PotPourri Group gets to make the packs on Thursday, March 21, 2013 9:15-11 a.m. in the chapel. Your contributions are greatly
appreciated.
Each mini-hamper includes the following:
·
preemie-6 months
onesies, jammies, soft clothes
·
shoes/booties
·
premie-12 months socks
and hats
·
Blankets of all shapes
and sizes
·
bibs
In addition the items below are things the social worker likes to be able
to give out as necessary:
·
Preemies to size 2
diapers
·
new or gently used
soothers and bottles
·
tiny little toys like
rattles or squeakers that are small enough to fit in a ziploc bag
·
0-12 months snow suits
·
car seat covers
·
CARSEATS!!
There are so many other baby items that we would
take, it's impossible to list them all! The main thing is storage. We've had
donations of swings and furniture and chairs etc. Other baby items will be delivered to the Calgary Pregnancy Care
Center.
