The Beginnings of Fall

Today felt like fall. As I was sipping a cup of coffee I began to anticipate my favourite aromas of autumn- baked apple pie, pumpkin spice lattes, wood smoke, and crisp breezes off the lake. For me, the best activities of the season include raking leaves, going for hikes, curling up on the patio in a blanket with a good book, and starting Women of Heart.
Last Thursday was the kick-off for Women of Heart where we were able to connect over brunch. A Touch with Kindness was felt by everyone; and so a BIG thank-you to everyone who came out to make the morning a great success! Over 120 women and around 70 children were able to make it. Old friendships were renewed and new friendships were started as 101 women registered for a variety of classes. If you didn't have the opportunity to register last week, don't worry. Come out tomorrow (bring your friends) and sign up for one of our terrific classes. We always look forward to connecting with more women.
There are three full classes- Take your Best Shot, Power Thoughts, and Revolutionary Parenting.
Don't forget, those of you from the Action Group will be serving in childcare this week, and the ladies who have signed up for Take Your Best Shot will provide snacks this week.
