Come to the Women of Heart event and hear from international experts about the difference microinsurance makes to people in the developing world.

Special Guests

Steve Coffey (England): In addition to being the Vice President, Strategic Relations for Opportunity International, Steve has established two UK-based charities supporting street children in Kenya. He is also an active Trustee of the Kenya Christian Industrial Training Institute, an independent technical college providing vocational training to students from Nairobi's slums. Steve has a great passion for serving the world's poor.

Genevieve Sackey (Ghana): Genevieve is a chartered banker who has worked for Ecobank West Africa, Money Systems West Africa and the global Societe Generale de Surviellance. In 2007, she was actively involved in forming a subsidiary of Opportunity's Micro Insurance Agency in Ghana. She is currently the Country Director.

Servants Anonymous

This Saturday there is a fundraiser for Servants Anonymous which is one of the organizations CSC supports. Servants Anonymous targets women... women in the sex trade- in Calgary, Vancouver, Nepal primarily. It is an amazing organization doing amazing things. Check out www.safoundation.com
Tickets are $35. The evening is from 7-10 pm at St. Paul's Church, 240 - 15th Avenue SW. The evening is showcasing their work in Nepal.
