Don’t want to say good bye to your new friends at Women of Heart?

Stay connected and continue to develop friendships over the Spring and Summer by attending our FUN monthly events! Bring your friends, family, teddy bears, princess dresses, whatever the occasion calls for and say HI!

May 1^st 10:00am

Meet at the Calgary Zoo North Entrance for a nice stroll. Bring your kids, family, friends and neighbours.

June 10^th – 7:00pm

A LADIES night out at the Currie Barracks. Free admission to watch old archived classic movies. Movie theme to be announced that evening.

Join us at Bowness Park for a Teddy Bear Picnic. They have a spray pool, train, café, ice-cream shoppe, concession and of course lots of playgrounds. Don’t forget your teddy bears.

Cool off with your kids in the heat of the summer at the wading pool at Riley Park. Bring a lunch if you’d like to stay for the day!

Establish These Habits

Somewhere between Messies and SuperCleanies there are Average Good Housekeepers. Here are some habits that these average good housekeepers do and teach their housemates (i.e. husband, children, boarders...)

1. Put things where they belong when you are through with them.
2. Set the standard for orderliness yourself.
3. Never leave the room before closing closets, cupboard doors and drawers.
4. Pick it up - don't pass it up.
5. When you fix ANYTHING to eat, put away EVERYTHING you used BEFORE you sit down to eat.
6. Dress, hair and mirror check before ANYTHING.
7. Never leave the house before you've done ALL the everyday duties on the list.
8. Check the next day's duty list the night before.
9. Finish what you start.

Train yourself so you can have empathy for your trainees... it's harder than it looks!
